A cat suffered such serious injuries from having her tail yanked that she had to be put to sleep. The two-year-old white and tortoiseshell female cat was found by her owner with the injuries after she went missing for 14 hours – between 8am and 10pm – on Saturday, May 21, from her home in Riddell Avenue, Langold. She was immediately taken to a vet by her owner, who assessed injuries to her face and her spine.
