After turning away from Christianity in his late teens, Reverend James Pacey decided to attempt to develop a career as a theatre director.But in 2010 while watching a film, he had a "powerful conversation and calling experience" which resurrected his faith in Christ.Now the 30-year-old has been appointed as the new curate at St Mary Magdalene Church in Hucknall.During his training post he will shadow the church's Reverend Canon Kathryn Herrod, who will teach him about ministry as well.
