Nottingham schools are facing over £27 million funding cuts, the National Union of Teachers has warned.The union has estimated that by 2020, schools and academies in the city face losing £27,531,875 - the equivalent to 667 teachers' posts at the average salary in Nottingham.The figures have been drawn up using a formula close to what the NUT believes the Department for Education might use in its upcoming funding changes.The DfE is due to announce a new model for working out how much.
