A kitchen on one of Nottingham City Hospital's wards was closed for 24 hours after a member of staff spotted a rat.Edward 2, an orthopaedic ward, shut its kitchen at about 4pm yesterday after the sighting and pest control monitored the area but found "no cause for concern".The kitchen was later deep cleaned and reopened this afternoon.No patients were affected and they all got their meals as usual, as hospital staff used the kitchen on a nearby ward.Read more: City hospital operations...
