JemmaPage published Nottingham author bags six-figure deal for three novels

Former Nottingham Post journalist turned author Mhairi McFarlane has signed a six-figure deal with a major publisher to write three more novels.The 39-year-old, of Sherwood, enjoyed literary success with Kindle bestseller You Had Me At Hello in 2012 – selling over half-a-million copies.She went on to write Here's Looking at You, released in 2013; It's Not Me, It's You, published in April this year; and her fourth book Who's That Girl? – the first set in Nottingham – is due out.
