A Newthorpe man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.Matthew Scrimshaw, 36, of Halls Lane, was charged on Friday in connection with a fatal collision in which 68-year-old Iris Higginson died.The incident took place in Mansfield Road, Eastwood on December 9 last year.The crash involved Scrimshaw's blue Audi TT and a black Vauxhall Corsa being driven by Ms Higginson, of Brinsley, who was pronounced dead at the scene.Scrimshaw is also charged with causing serious injury to one..
