Motorists heading home for Christmas could face a delay of up to one hour on Nottinghamshire motorways.A total of nine sets of roadworks are scheduled on the county's motorways on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.Most of the work will take place along the M1 where four different sites are scheduled for construction by Highways England, the government company in charge of motorways and major roads.Highways England expects all of these sites to cause slight delays, while most of the sites will enforce.
