A man had part of his ear bitten off during an attack on a Newark pub's dancefloor at the weekend.Police were called to the White Hart in Market Place during the early hours of Sunday morning at about 2.30am.The man also suffered an injury to his shoulder in the assault, which happened on the pub's dancefloor.He was taken to Lincoln County Hospital and has since been discharged.Officers investigating the attack are keen to speak to people who say it take place.
