Pets in Nottingham will be the first in the country to benefit from a £25,000 state-of-the-art scanner. A computerised tomography (CT) scanner will be installed at East Midlands Referrals, in Hucknall, this week. The machinery uses X-rays and computer software to create high definition, detailed images of the inside of the body.
