An afternoon of books and baking was on the menu for dozens of foodies as former Great British Bake-Off winner Frances Quinn showcased a host of culinary delights.The former Nottingham Trent University student, who graduated in 2006 with a degree in textile design, was at Lowdham Village Hall yesterday talking about her debut cookbook Quinntessential Baking.The 33-year-old was crowned the winner of the 2013 series of the BBC show after she impressed judges Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry with her.
