Firefighters were out and about in Nottingham yesterday after a series of serious house fires over the weekend. The first incident happened in Tollerton Green, Bulwell, on Saturday; the second on Sunday in Derby Road, Bramcote; and the third in Musters Road, West Bridgford, on Sunday evening. None of these fires are believed to be linked and all were caused accidentally.Station manager Matt Reavill, who runs the community safety team, is urging people to take on board safety advice.
