An elderly man who was rescued from a house fire in Hucknall has died. Fire crews were called to the blaze at the two-storey property, in Storth Avenue, shortly before 1.20pm on Wednesday. The 66-year-old man was rescued by firefighters, but police confirmed he had died as a result of the fire, which is not being treated as suspicious.
