A man in his 40s was hit by a vehicle in Kirkby-in-Ashfield.The cyclist was hit by the vehicle, believed to be a car, from behind in Blidworth Road at about 9.30pm on Tuesday.The car did not stop and the victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.Witnesses can call police on 101, quoting incident 933.
