A couple who met during the Second World War have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Colin, 92, and Dorothy James, 91, first locked eyes in 1940 when they were both 15 and working at a factory in Ollerton. The duo, who now live in Woodthorpe, married seven years later – on March 29, 1947 – at Kirton Church.
