A small rescue centre for boxer dogs is urging the public to open their hearts and homes to a pet – after more than 20 neglected canines were dropped off on its doorstep in just nine weeks. The Notts & Yorkshire Boxer Rescue, which opened in 2005, is run by a group of friends and instead of having a static premises, they keep their dogs in kennels and foster homes across the counties until they can be permanently re-homed.
