Furniture outside a house in Ilkeston was set alight - with the flames spreading to the front window of a house.The blaze - in Burr Lane on Tuesday - caused extensive damage.Detectives are now looking for witnesses to the arson.No one was in the house at the time of the incident, which took place between 4.30 and 5.30am.Anyone who was in the area at the time, or the car park at the Albion Centre, should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
