One of Nottingham's busiest roads has reopened after it was closed due an unsafe derelict building. Alfreton Road was affected by high winds from Storm Doris and was closed at its junction with Boden Street and Highurst Street shortly after 2pm today. Police cordoned off the road after the boarded-up Forest Mill office block was deemed unsafe due to panes of glass falling from the roof.
