A would-be thief attempted to snatch a woman's handbag after she left a Post Office in Mansfield Woodhouse.
The woman was followed by a man after leaving the building, and the man tried to steal her bag opposite Lloyds TSB in Church Street.
The crook then fled on foot heading towards Church Side.
And now police are wanting to speak to the man in this video, who was in the area at the time, in connection with the attempted theft.
Crimestoppers is offering a £1,000 reward.
