One of the last Nottingham bendy buses has been transformed for a second life as a school library.The former Nottingham City Transport bus has been donated to Alderman Pounder School, in Eskdale Drive, Chilwell.The school, near Chetwynd Barracks, has 49 children who have a parent in the Armed Forces and was given £40,000 by the Ministry of Defence for the project.Now more than 250 pupils will be able to enjoy books such as The Hungry Caterpillar and The Cat In The Hat in the 18-metre bus..
