JamesPallatt published Who is Nottingham Forest trialist Markos Vellidis?

Greek goalkeeper Markos Vellidis is understood to be on trial at Nottingham Forest. Here, we take a look at the 29-year-old. Vellidis has been at six clubs in Greece in his career. He started out at Greek giants Panathinaikos in 2005, but left three years later without playing a match for Oi Prasinoi. Loaned out to Greek third division sides Koropi (2006-2007) and Diagoras (2007-08), he signed permanently for Diagoras in 2008, spending two seasons in Rhodes.
