Scot Bennett is the first casualty of John Sheridan's reign at Notts County. The 25-year-old has today left the Magpies, after having his contract terminated by mutual consent. Signed by the club's former head of recruitment Guy Branston last summer, centre-back Bennett only played seven games for Notts in his one season at the club.
