Firefighters tackled a blaze in Nottingham city centre this afternoon. Crews from Arnold, London Road and Carlton fire stations were called to the scene in Milton Street at around 2pm today (Tuesday, February 7). The incident involved a five-storey building and a considerable amount of smoke. It has now been extinguished.Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire originated from a lift motor room.
