Plans to seize 53 plots of land needed to build a new £40m Gedling Access Road through compulsory purchase powers look set to be given the go-ahead next week.The 3.8km new stretch of road will link the existing A612 Burton Road to the B684 Mapperley Plains and has been designed to reduce congestion in Gedling Village.
