GemmaToulson commented Builders' blunder leads to power cut in Hucknall

Twenty three homes in Hucknall were without electricity this morning after builders cut through a power cable. Homes in Lightening Grove and Spitfire Way, off Watnall Road, were affected by the outage between 9.30am and 12.40pm today (Wednesday, May 31). Electricity network operator Western Power Distribution said the power cut happened after builders working on a nearby housing estate cut through an electricity cable.
