EllieCullen published Rescue attempts as cow becomes stuck in ditch

Firefighters have been trying to free a one-tonne cow after it became stuck in a ditch.The seven-year-old animal was left trapped at a farm on Whitehead Drive in Brinsley.A fire crew from Eastwood was called at just after 10am on Saturday to try and rescue the cow.The specialist rescue team were also on hand to help. The fire service said at 12pm that the teams would still be at the scene for a while longer.The owner of the cow was also there.
