An elderly man was rushed to hospital after collapsing on Trent Bridge.Paramedics were called to the scene after a passer-by spotted him lying in the middle of the road.A witness, who dialled 999, said: "It looked like he had collapsed. It was just up from the Riverbank. He had some kids with him - they were only youngsters."The ambulance took the man to hospital following the incident, which happened at about 1.30pm on Saturday.
