DaveWhitfield published Water bus could run along River Trent in Nottingham

A new water bus could ferry passengers from Attenborough to Holme Pierrepont along the River Trent.The scheme being led by the Canal & River Trust would see 12 trips every day along the river and the Nottingham and Beeston Canal.It has carried out a feasibility study with students from Nottingham Trent University - and now wants to find a company that would actually run the boats.The service would be aimed at pleasure trips rather than people wanting to commute into Nottingham.Read more:...
