Nottingham's main Post Office remained open today despite a strike by members of the Communication Workers Union.The CWU is striking for five days this week in protest at job losses; the closure of a final salary pension scheme; and the franchising of Crown Post Offices, which are the main high street branches.The strike was called at 300 Crown branches, but the Post Office said around 250 of these were open today.
