In the last week a lone female mandarin duck which had been hanging around the Attenborough Nature Centre for over a year has finally met a mate, writes Tim Sexton, assistant manager at the centre.On Tuesday morning a male mandarin appeared on the reserve and the two ducks seem to have taken an instant liking to each other.
