DaveWhitfield published HS2 boss predicts a new 'city' will be created at Toton Sidings

The head of the HS2 rail project has said the building of a station on the line near Toton could result in a new 'city' at the site.The land at Toton Sidings has been earmarked for the nearest station to Nottingham on the high-speed line. And in an interview with The Sunday Times, Sir David Higgins, chairman of High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd, said its position between Nottingham and Derby would be key to what happened at the site.
