A woman was assaulted as she walked home in the early hours of the morning.The attack happened near Tesco Express on Hucknall Road, Carrington, at around 3am on Sunday after a man approached her.He is described as being a white man in his late 30s or early 40s, less than 5ft 8ins tall with a muscular, stocky build and a tattoo on his neck.A cordon was put in place while officer investigated.People living in the area have been left "shocked" by the assault which happened near a passage.
