DanRussell published University of Nottingham developing the future of rail travel

The future of the national railway is being developed in Nottingham.A five year project worth £8.5 million has started in a bid to create new track which will be cheaper, quieter, last longer and be easier to maintain.The University of Nottingham is working on the Track to the Future project to provide a solution for increase in train frequencies, speeds and operating hours.Nottinghamshire Campaign for Better Transport believes the project could see the city put on the railway map.Chairman
