The announcement of a new nature reserve has been welcomed by people in Trowell.The Pit Lane area of the village will become the 15th site in Broxtowe Borough to be awarded Local Nature Reserve status.A management plan has been prepared by Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust to consider ways of improving the site for wildlife without impacting on the many sports and recreational activities which currently take place.Drew Butler has lived in the village for 14 years.The 52-year-old, of Northern Drive,
