You can boil, mash and fry them but scores of people found new ways to prepare the humble spud at Nottingham Potato Day. The annual event took place on Saturday and before the doors opened at 10am there were more than 50 people waiting to get in to the United Reformed Church, in Edwards Lane, Sherwood.
