DanRussell published Fire at derelict shop closes Canning Circus

Firefighters are tackling a blaze at an abandoned shop - next to one that burnt down last summer. Emergency services were called to Canning Circus this afternoon, Wednesday. The building that is on fire has been empty for several years.Police have cordoned off the slip road from Derby Road to Alfreton Road heading out of the city.
