DanRussell published A453 works could be finished next month

The £150 million upgrade to the A453 could be completed several months early – to the delight of residents and businesses.The scheme to widen the road from Clifton to the M1 started two and a half years ago. The project was originally scheduled finish between July and September but is now expected to fully open in June, says Highways England.The 1.5-mile section through Clifton has also been widened to create a dual carriageway and residents are looking forward to the traffic cones..
