A 79-year-old man is being questioned by police following the death of a pensioner after he was hit by a mobility scooter.The collision occurred at the lower end of Bath street in Ilkeston where the 88-year-old victim is believed to have been waiting for a bus. He was struck by the scooter and taken to a nearby shop while waiting for an ambulance on Tuesday, February 3, at 10.45am.He was transferred to hospital where he died from his injuries on Wednesday, February 25.Police.
