The biggest solar eclipse in 16 years will be visible in Nottinghamshire on Friday, March 20.

A partial eclipse will begin at 8.27am as the moon and sun line up with each other.

It will peak at 9.32am, when 89 per cent of the sun will be blocked out to create a darker sky.

The spectacle will be over at 10.42am.
