The last time Duncan Edwards was in the Queen's Medical Centre's intensive care unit, he had cheated death after the longest marathon of his life.The 28-year-old, of Hucknall, stayed there for 10 weeks last year – including a seven-week coma – after becoming critically ill when he collapsed shortly at the finish line of the Robin Hood half marathon.Yesterday, he returned with his family to thank the doctors and nurses who saved his life – and handed over a £5,000 donation
