Engineering consultancy Millward has been appointed to work on the new £2.5m fire station in Newark. The Nottingham firm won the tender from construction company The Gelder Group to carry out civil and structural engineering services. The current fire station, in Boundary Road, will be demolished to make way for a new station and training tower.
