A man has been taken to hospital after an assault in Long Eaton.Police said he was injured after the attack by two people in Derby Road, shortly before 9am on Saturday.The offenders left the scene on foot towards Derby Road bridge.Officers are now investigating the incident, which has caused "significant disruption" to the town centre as Derby Road is closed in both directions.Trent Barton tweeted that the incident had also affected College Street, causing diversions via Tamworth Road,
