DanRobinson published Jobs at risk after BHS rescue bid fails

A last-minute bid to save BHS has failed – putting 11,000 jobs under threat. Administrators looking after the 88-year-old retailer, which has stores in Nottingham's intu Broadmarsh Centre, as well as Giltbrook and Mansfield, said on Thursday they were unable to sell the business and it will now go into liquidation. The department store chain went into administration in April, leaving a £571m pension fund black hole.
