DanRobinson published Chris Leslie named new shadow chancellor for Labour

Chris Leslie has been appointed Shadow Chancellor in a reshuffle by the Labour party.The Nottingham East MP replaced Ed Balls, who lost his Morley and Outwood seat in the general election.Mr Leslie retained his seat in a landslide victory with a majority of almost 12,000 votes.He first won the seat in 2010, succeeding John Heppell, and has previously been Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury.Other big moves in the Shadow Cabinet included Hilary Benn moving to Shadow Foreign Secretary and Emma.
