Rail passengers travelling over the Bank Holiday could be hit by chaos after a 24-hour rail strike over pay was confirmed.Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union will walk out from 5pm on Bank Holiday Monday.The workers, including signallers and maintenance staff, will also ban overtime for 48 hours on Monday and Tuesday.The move comes after union members voted for strikes at 4-1 after rejecting a four-year deal offered by Network Rail worth £500 this year and three years..
