Tram operators are gearing up to hire 30 new members of staff as work on extending the lines to Chilwell and Clifton nears completion.The new recruits would add to the 115 people who have been taken on as drivers, travel officers, customer services advisers, cleaners and in administration roles in the last year.Around 60 per cent of the recruits live in the central Nottingham area.
