BenIreland published Smoke plumes over Nottingham as fire breaks out in Rushcliffe

Plumes of smoke are appearing over Nottingham as a large fire burns south of the River Trent.Firefighters are on the scene and pictures have begun to emerge on social media.Nottinghamshire Police said the fire was close to Emmanuel School and four fire engines have been dispatched.Twitter users in Nottinghamshire have said the smoke is coming from near Rushcliffe Arena, known as David Lloyd Leisure.More to follow.
