BenIreland published Road re-opens after car hits tree in Basford

Valley Road has now re-opened after a car hit a tree this morning, leaving huge delays to traffic near the City Hospital.
Locals say a similar incident happened just months ago at the same spot.
Police were called to the scene, at the junction with Ventnor Rise, at 11.30am on March 19 and cordoned off the road.
