Police have thanked the public for their help finding two missing women and a baby.A public appeal was launched to find 83-year-old Mavis Vernon, who was reported missing on the morning of Friday, June 3. She was not seen from 7.25am outside the Asiana supermarket in Woodborough Road, St Ann's, until police confirmed she returned safely shortly before 9pm the same day. During the search, officers said that her intention was to head into the city and said she may have intended to walk there.After
