Campaigners say the lack of a transport assessment for a 1,000-home development near a Nottinghamshire village could leave it "gridlocked".Planning permission for 38 of the 1,000 homes on green belt-land at Top Wighay, near Linby, could be given on Wednesday at a Gedling Borough Council planning committee.But action group Brownfield 1st and members of Linby Parish Council say a decision on the Strata Homes development comes too soon because there is no plan to cope with expected traffic...
