BenIreland published Elderly man caught riding mobility scooter down busy A-road

An "elderly" man has been caught riding his mobility scooter down the A17 near Newark. Nottinghamshire Police's rural officers spotted the man at around 3pm and officers helped him back to his home.
He is understood to be safe and well.The officers took to Twitter to warn drivers and mobility scooters about the incident.
